50 Cent
July 16, 2005
The MSA wants to thank everyone who volunteered at the 50 Cent show Saturday, July 16th. They survived rain, wind, hail, tipped porta-potties and over 5,500 concert goers. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
A little concert gossip - a friend in the Sheriff’s department reported that there were more fights between girls than anything else at this concert and they were surprised at how smooth it went - all things considered.
This concert brought in about $7000 for the Skatepark. Not bad, especially with the majority of the crowd being under 21, and being unusually sneaky about parking. We sold a solid 50 kegs (7 more than Widespread) and parked around 700 cars. The Big Sky concerts just keep getting smoother
and smoother. This is due, in large part, to the awesome group of volunteers we have.
MSA would like to thank Mackenzie River Pizza, Anneke (one of our fantastic beer pourers), and her friends and family. They all chipped in
and donated all the pizza for the concert. It was not only delicious pizza but it fueled all the volunteers - even better than Crunk Juice
could have.
